Vin in Ventura

Kristen Shubert came to Ventura in 2001 for a Jet Ski race and thought the area was cute. Fast-forward to 2017 and Shubert, a sommelier, now owns VinTura Tasting Room and Wine Rack. She’s is a member of the U.S. International Wine Tasting Team, which placed third in the 2016 World Wine Tasting Championships in France. VinTura features California wines (with a focus on the Central Coast) and international varieties. For the monthly Wine Wars, Shubert pits one region against another and customers vote.
