VC Ocean Friendly Gardens Tour and Fundraiser
Join Surfrider Foundation for an afternoon tour of four homes that feature Ocean Friendly Gardens.
What's an Ocean Friendly Garden? Surfrider volunteers will take you on a short walking tour to discuss how to design and build a garden that practices CPR: Conservation, Permeability and Retention.
Slow Food Ventura County is the generous host for this event. In the Slow Food tradition, delicious light fare from local sources will be served, as prepared by chef Pamela Nears.
Plus, there will be door prizes from Surfrider, Patagonia and local nurseries. This fun, informative and social event will support the Ocean Friendly Gardens program. Ticket sales are limited. Order at Eventbrite link below.
