Fruity Sangria Ice Pops

Ingredients

SERVINGS: Makes 8–11 pops using 4- or 3-ounce molds
  • 1 bottle fruity red wine (750 milliliters)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup chopped fresh fruit such as grapes, apples, orange segments, berries

Instructions

In a saucepan over medium heat, reduce wine until you have 1¾ cups. Remove from heat. Pour hot wine into a bowl and stir in sugar and honey until dissolved. Add orange juice and chopped fruit to macerate. Chill wine mixture for several hours. Pour into ice pop molds and freeze 4–6 hours or overnight.

Set molds in hot water for 15 to 30 seconds to loosen pops. Then unmold ice pops.
