The Ojai Pixie Growers Association is composed of over 40 family farms growing sweet, seedless Pixie tangerines in the Ojai Valley. Pixies ripen in March, and the Ojai Pixie Growers sell them wholesale and direct for as long as there is fruit to sell, usually in May or June.
Ventura County's original farmers' markets since 1986, providing the true connection of fresh and local foods and the finest small California farmers, with locations in Ventura (Wednesdays and Saturdays), Thousand Oaks (Thursdays) and Santa Clarita (Sundays). Ventura County Certified Farmers' Markets encourages the public to meet the farmers and get to know their food.
The Ventura County Winery Association consists of local boutique wineries producing artisan wines in casual settings. Member wineries feature tasting bars open to the public and most have on-site production facilities. Visitors can sample dozens of wines in a variety of styles including whites, rosés, reds and dessert wines.
