The Summer Table: Hosted by Freda’s Fine Food and Drink

Our summer table is hosted by FREDA’S FINE FOOD AND DRINK, nestled in the heart of Moorpark’s historic High Street. The eponymous Freda is the mother of co-founder Phil Adler (pictured here) who pays homage with a menu inspired by family tradition and local bounty. From house-made pizza dough to vibrant salads and entrées like braised short rib and grilled salmon, Freda’s emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and scratch-made cooking and brings a fresh, seasonal approach to California cuisine. The inviting atmosphere, complete with a full bar and outdoor seating, makes it a favorite for both casual lunches and special dinners. Whether you’re craving a Diavola pizza or a handcrafted cocktail, Freda’s offers a warm, community-focused dining experience.
