Maple Sweetened Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, very cold
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (Grade B), cold
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract

Preparation

Place cream in chilled mixing bowl. Whip on high for 3—5 minutes, until cream starts to stiff en. Add maple syrup and vanilla. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula at least once to incorporate all ingredients. Continue whipping until all ingredients are combined or until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to over-mix, you may end up with sweet butter.
