Studio Channel Islands is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to a bringing together artists and community for extraordinary artistic encounters that enrich, educate, and entertain. Located in Old Town Camarillo, Studio Channel Islands offers two art galleries, 40 working artists studios, an outdoor exhibition and event spaces.

Ongoing programs include:

The Blackboard Gallery: Featuring 12 fine art exhibitions a year and a gift store with boutique items created by SCIART member artists.

Gallery Hours are Tue-Fri 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sat 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Admission is free. Visit SCIART’s website for details on the current exhibition.

Open Studios/First Saturday of the Month

As many as 40 of the area’s best artists welcome visitors into their studios

on the first Saturday of every month from 11am – 4pm to watch them create sculptures, paintings and multimedia pieces up-close and personal.

Special Events & Festivals

SCIART hosts artist talks, concerts, films and several annual events such as the Collector's Choice event, Arts Alive Festival and annual Art a la Mode gala. SCIART's Annual Holiday Art Market will be taking place Dec. 3 and 4, featuring an exceptional selection of original artist works for sale.
