We met through the online dating site, Hinge! After a couple weeks of chatting on Hinge we exchanged numbers. I remember that same evening, Brandon asked if he could take me out. I was so excited! However, I wanted to FaceTime him prior to meeting in person. I mean, honestly, Brandon really seemed to be “too good to be true.” He didn’t see the point (I later found out) but agreed to FaceTime anyway. And we essentially were happy ever after!
We agreed that we wanted to save money and get married at the Santa Barbara courthouse. It is a stunning building rich with history. Originally, it was raining all that week and was predicted to continue to pour on our wedding day. As we were awaiting family to arrive, blue skies began to peek out from behind the beautiful white clouds. The ceremony itself was brief, but the warmest and loving atmosphere.
Kaleidoscope Flowers, just minutes from the courthouse, truly added to our day with my beautiful bouquet. And I want to give a very special shout out to our photographer, Gennan Shippen. She was outstanding.

ADVICE FROM THE BRIDE
I would highly recommend discussing what your financial goals are prior to focusing on a wedding. Decide if you want a big wedding or more intimate. Do you want to save for a house, honeymoon? Consider these decisions before pouring money into your wedding. Lastly, be sure to choose wisely when it comes to your photographer and/or videographer. Your special day goes by so fast, you will highly depend on photos and videos for memories.
