Nancy Spiller

Nancy Spiller is an author and artist with homes on the wild western edge of Los Angeles and Oxnard. A fourth-generation Californian, her articles and essays have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Salon.com, Cooking Light and Town & Country, among others. She is the author of Entertaining Disasters: A Novel (With Recipes) (Counterpoint Press, 2009) and Compromise Cake: Lessons Learned from My Mother’s Recipe Box (Counterpoint Press, 2013) and teaches in the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program.
